12 Day North Vietnam Adventure

Welcome to Vietnam! We'll meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation in the heart of Hanoi. Meet your fellow travellers, settle in and get ready for the adventure ahead. This evening, we'll head out together for our first Vietnamese meal.

Today, we'll dive straight into the hustle and bustle of Vietnam's capital. Explore the chaotic streets on a walking and traditional rickshaw tour, sample delicious Vietnamese street food and discover the city's hidden alleyways. Tonight, we'll head out together to experience Hanoi's nightlife.

Leave the city behind as we travel to spectacular Ha Long Bay. Board our overnight boat and cruise through emerald waters surrounded by towering limestone islands. Grab a kayak to explore hidden caves and secluded lagoons before enjoying dinner onboard with your travel crew.

Wake up surrounded by the incredible scenery of Ha Long Bay before travelling to Ninh Binh, often called Ha Long Bay on land. With its towering limestone mountains, winding rivers and endless rice paddies, this is one of Vietnam's most beautiful regions.

Tonight, we'll stay in a traditional local homestay, giving us the chance to experience the peaceful countryside away from the cities.

Today is all about exploring Ninh Binh's incredible landscapes. Jump on a bicycle and ride through peaceful villages and rice fields before boarding a traditional rowing boat to navigate rivers and caves between limestone cliffs.

We'll finish with a climb to Dragon Mountain viewpoint, where panoramic views across the countryside make the perfect end to the day.

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Ninh Binh before preparing for our journey south. We'll board an overnight sleeper train towards Da Nang, travelling along Vietnam's coastline and through its changing landscapes.

Settle into your sleeper cabin, spend time with the group and wake up ready to explore central Vietnam

Arrive in Da Nang and transfer to our accommodation. After checking in, we'll head to My Khe Beach to relax, swim and enjoy the sunshine.

Later, explore the waterfront and sample some of Da Nang's famous local food. In the evening, we'll visit the Dragon Bridge area and enjoy the city's lively atmosphere.

Today, we'll explore one of Da Nang's most impressive landmarks: the Marble Mountains. Discover caves, Buddhist temples and incredible viewpoints overlooking the coastline.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy. Relax on the beach, grab a coffee at a beachfront café or spend time exploring the city with your group.

Today, we'll make the short journey from Da Nang to Hoi An, a charming town famous for its colourful lanterns, yellow-painted buildings and riverside cafés.

After checking in, we'll explore the Ancient Town together, browse the markets and discover the local shops. As evening arrives, watch the lanterns illuminate the streets and enjoy dinner beside the river.

Get ready for one of Hoi An's most memorable experiences. We'll head into the coconut groves for a traditional basket boat trip, learning about local fishing traditions and navigating the waterways.

Afterwards, roll up your sleeves for a Vietnamese cooking class, learning to prepare some of the country's most delicious dishes. This evening, you'll have time to explore Hoi An's night markets and enjoy the atmosphere.

This morning, learn how to make your own traditional Vietnamese lantern to take home as a souvenir.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy Hoi An. Head to An Bang Beach, explore the cafés and boutiques, visit a tailor or simply relax by the pool. Tonight, we'll come together for a final group dinner and celebrate our Vietnam adventure.

It's time to say goodbye to your travel crew! Enjoy breakfast and a final morning in Hoi An before checking out.
