9 Day Highlights of North Vietnam

Welcome to Vietnam! We'll meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation in the heart of Hanoi. Meet your new travel crew, settle in and get ready for nine days of adventures.

This evening, we'll head out for a welcome dinner, giving everyone the chance to get to know each other over delicious Vietnamese food. Afterwards, we'll explore Hanoi's buzzing nightlife together.

Start the day with breakfast before experiencing one of Hanoi’s most talked-about spots: the famous Train Street!

Watch the train tracks cut through a street lined with cafés and local shops. Grab a Vietnamese coffee and experience this unique Hanoi highlight up close.

As evening rolls around, it's time to unwind! Head out for cocktails and a delicious group dinner. Get to know everyone, share some laughs and raise a glass to new friendships and the adventures ahead!

Leave the city behind as we travel to spectacular Ha Long Bay, where emerald waters meet towering limestone islands.

We'll board our overnight boat, enjoy lunch on board and cruise through the incredible scenery, stopping to kayak through hidden caves and explore secluded lagoons.

Spend the afternoon swimming, relaxing on deck and getting to know the group as we sail through the bay. As the sun sets, we'll enjoy dinner together before turning the boat into our own little floating social scene with music, games and drinks where available.

Tonight, we'll sleep surrounded by one of Vietnam's most incredible landscapes!

Wake up surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Ha Long Bay and enjoy breakfast before travelling to Ninh Binh, often called Ha Long Bay on land. Lunch is included along the way, so you can refuel before we reach the countryside.

We'll settle into a traditional riverside homestay, surrounded by rice paddies and dramatic limestone mountains. Spend the afternoon relaxing in hammocks, exploring the local area and enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

Tonight, we'll come together for a Vietnamese family-style dinner, followed by group games and a fun travel quiz to see who's been paying attention to everything we've experienced so far!

Today, we're heading into the incredible landscapes of Ninh Binh!

Start with breakfast before hopping on a bike to pedal through local villages and endless rice paddies.

Next, climb aboard traditional rowing boats to glide along the river and explore hidden caves.

In the evening, enjoy some downtime and explore the local area at your own pace.

Start the day with breakfast before exploring Hoi An's colourful streets, beautiful markets and shops to find the perfect shirt for tonight's Sh*t Shirt Night!

As the sun sets, we'll hop on traditional lantern boats along the river, just like the scene in Tangled.

Tonight, it's time to swap your Sh*t Shirt and head out together for dinner, games and a night full of laughs!

Start the day with breakfast before getting ready for a day of fun in Hoi An! Hop aboard a traditional coconut boat, spin around on the water and cruise along the river through the lush coconut groves.

Next, it's time to become Vietnamese chefs for the day! Get hands-on in a local cooking class, learn the secrets behind Vietnam's favourite dishes and prepare your own delicious creations. Then comes the best part: sitting down together to taste everything you've made!

Tonight is a free evening to explore Hoi An, grab dinner with friends or hit the dance floor and experience the town's nightlife!

Start the day with breakfast before getting creative! Join a traditional Vietnamese lantern-making workshop and learn how to craft your own colourful lantern from scratch. Choose your favourite colours, put your skills to the test and create a unique souvenir to take home from Hoi An.

Afterwards, it's beach time! Head to the coast for an afternoon of swimming, sunbathing, beach games and cold drinks by the sea.

Tonight, we'll head to Bikini Bottom, Hoi An's TikTok-viral restaurant, for a fun dinner together. It's the perfect way to celebrate our final full evening in Vietnam, share our favourite memories and enjoy one last night out together!
